Antonia Lloyd-Jones is a full-time translator of Polish literature, including fiction, poetry and non-fiction. She has translated several children’s books including Little Chopin by Michal Rusinek, and has worked with the Polish Book Institute to promote Polish children’s books abroad. Her favourite classic children’s writers include Jan Brzechwa and Julian Tuwim, and her favourite modern ones include Pawel Pawlak and Joanna Olech. She has lived in an Alaskan forest, by the sea in New Zealand, and even in a flat in west London.
